1. Heartbeat – live system status monitoring ensuring the system is always fully functional
2. Auto Video Download – automatic video transfer from a vehicle to the office
3. System configuration – remotely install software upgrades and configure the system settings

Enabling your vehicles and depot with Wi-Fi is the first step to achieving complete automation. Now you can remotely interact with your vehicles. Wi-Fi is a two stage process, Firstly, we install Wi-Fi equipment onto your vehicles. Secondly, we install wireless access points as required in your depot or garage and link them to your server.

Heartbeat

With the addition of "Heartbeat" software you can revolutionise the control of your CCTV. The system automatically downloads data about the operational status of your vehicle CCTV every minute of every day. Thereby any potential problems are highlighted immediately and you can accurately direct maintenance resources. This will improve efficiency and significantly reduce your maintenance costs.

Installing Wi-Fi will allow you to control who does what and when in terms of your CCTV servicing or maintenance program. You no longer need to visit the vehicle to check if CCTV is fully operational.

Automatic Video Download Manager

Using the Auto Video Download Manager, operators simply request any required video using software on the PC/server supplied by 21^st Century. The next time the vehicle comes into range of the Wi-Fi infrastructure at the garage/depot, the video automatically downloads directly to the PC/server where it can be easily accessed and reviewed.

This allows a single CCTV operator to manage video requests from multiple vehicles, without ever leaving their office.

Downloading video is very easy:

• Open the automatic video download software
• Choose the vehicle containing the video
• Request the date and timeframe required
• The next time the vehicle enters the depot the video is automatically downloaded enabling you to view the footage from your office and store, or burn it to CD/DVD

System configuration

The ProGuard allows you to set up your entire system from the comfort of your office using Wi-Fi. The browser-based user interface easily allows you to connect and control every possible system setting, meaning it is no longer necessary to visit the vehicle to complete the software installation.
