How mobile technology can generate revenue
16 September 2009

Seminar delegates at this year's Coach & Bus Live exhibition will discover how CCTV and mobile technology systems can be used to generate revenue as well as reduce operating costs.

Paul Rogers, Director of Sales & Marketing for 21st Century Technology Solutions, will present a seminar on Thursday 8th October, titled The use of CCTV & Mobile Technology in the reduction of costs and generation of revenue.  Paul Rogers will look in depth at the way CCTV can save costs and quickly recover the investment in systems, for example by lowering insurance claims and associated costs while improving passenger confidence and thus generating more revenue.

The Seminar will not only be focusing on CCTV.  It will look at how the mobile technology being used by the CCTV industry has opened more doors and is providing further opportunities for cost cutting and revenue generation.  Systems such as EcoManager which monitors driving habits and shows where fuel can be saved have clear benefits.  Mobile technology is also introducing the internet to passenger transport, with significant opportunities for advertising revenue.  Mobile technology also now allows operators to view live CCTV images and respond to any incidents immediately with obvious benefits to employees and customers.

The presentation will conclude with advice on working with suppliers to choose or develop the best products and maximise the return on investment, as well as the importance of staff training to ensure all systems are meeting objectives.

There is no need to book a place at the seminar, visitors can simply select the sessions they are interested in from a comprehensive programme of free talks.  For more details please go to http://www.coachandbuslive.com/questiontime.html

21st Century will be demonstrating LiveView, EcoManager and other CCTV and mobile technology products at Coach & Bus Live, from 7th to 8th October at the NEC, on stand T74 in the Technology Zone.
