Queen's Award for 21st Century ProGuard system

The technology behind 21st Century's industry leading ProGuard cctv system has been given the prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise. The system received the award in the Innovation category, which recognises companies that have demonstrated commercial success through innovative products or services.
ProGuard is a fully integrated cctv solution for passenger transport systems. Its innovative design means that it has Wi-Fi capability and automatically downloads digital images from buses. Supported by the very latest Wi-Fi maintenance system known as Heartbeat, ProGuard also provides a 24 hour automated system monitor, making sure operators can always be confident that their CCTV is functioning correctly.
In addition to basic Wi-Fi and CCTV, 21st Century has combined the ProGuard with GPS to monitor speed and vehicle location, connectivity to brakes, indicators and tachometer, as well as the ability to connect directly to buses on the road via live voice calls and SMS messaging.
